How to change the Firefox Search provider


So, Now I’m Going to teach you how to change your Firefox search provider. It is a lil bit difficult but interesting.
So, If you want to change your Firefox search engine then follow the steps below.
1.Open Mozilla Firefox.
2.In the address bar, type about:config and hit enter. This will take you to a page where you will get warning to be careful.
3.Click on “I’ll be careful, I promise!”.


4.In the filter search box, type keyword.url.
5.You will then see a file called keyword.URL. Right-click on it and select modify.


6.Then it will ask you to enter string value for the keyword URL.  Type in your favorite search engine search URL. URL to some search engines are below. Type any to change search engine to the typed URL.
Google: http://www.google.com/search?&q=
Yahoo: http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=
Ask: http://www.ask.com/web?q=
Bing:http://www.bing.com/search?q=
DuckDuckGo: http://duckduckgo.com/?q=
ChaCha: http://www.chacha.com/search/
Twitter: http://search.twitter.com/search?q
6.Type URL of any search engine and click on OK.
