Uninor Mumbai Now Offer 96 Percent Discount On Local Calls


Uninor today announced an attractive offer for its Mumbai customers which will extend massive discounts in the range of 85% to 96% on local Uninor to Uninor calls.

The discount will keep changing throughout the day basis location and time.

With an average daily commute time of 4 hours in Mumbai, this could mean hundreds of varying discount opportunities every day for Mumbaikars with a better discount only a station away.

This also means that depending on discounts available during the day, Uninor customers can make local calls for as low as 2 paisa per minute.

Discounts on local Uninor to Uninor calls will be available as default, to existing as well as new subscribers of the Dynamic Pricing plan – without any other special recharge.

Subscribers who are currently not on the DP plan or those who wish to extend the benefit of their DP plan can recharge with the existing Rs.26 Special Tariff Voucher (STV) which offers 3 months Dynamic Pricing benefits. Discounts on calls made to subscribers on other networks will continue to range from 5 per cent to 60 per cent.

Tata Indicom launched ‘Pay Per Call’ (PPC) for its pre-paid customers across circles.

This plan offers multiple benefits to customers such as reduced overall cost of the tariff with no daily rentals and standard calling rates.

Furthermore, it is extremely easy for customers to migrate to the new PPC Plan without any additional fee or charges, to avail various benefits.

Under this new pay per call offer, customers can make local calls at Re 1 for 5 minutes and STD calls at Rs 2 for a standard duration of 5 minutes without paying for any daily rental.

Additionally, both local and national SMSes would be charged at 50 paise/SMS. This new offer is valid on all the calls made by Tata Indicom pre-paid customers to any mobile or land line connection, on any network. To avail new PPC plan, customers have to SMS ‘PPC’ to 12524 and they can migrate to the plan without incurring any extra charge/cost.

The new PPC plan offers a tariff validity of 365 days and incoming validity depends on the customer’s First Recharge Voucher (FRC). The offer is applicable for all the new customers whose FRC date is less than 90 days.

Under 3G postpaid mobile data plan the fixed Monthly Charges will be Rs. 700 which includes Free data usage 2 GB along with additional usage charges beyond Rs. 100/GB with free usage limit (10 KB pulse) starting 16th of this month.

Bsnl subscribers who wish to pay upfront amount of Rs. 10,000 towards FMC of the data plan will be provided with a FREE 3G data card (Make/Model-Linktop/LW 272, Data speed-3.6 Mbps, Single Band, USB Type).

One can also opt any postpaid data plan of his choice and the Fixed Monthly Charge of the plan selected will be automatically deducted from the advance amount till the balance in account exhausted.

The above tariff will be implemented with effect from 16.05.2011
